Style - Atmospheric/Progressive, Soulful D&B Location - Midlands U.K
"I got into Drum & Bass around 94/95 my older brother, used to play a lot of it, so I eventually got into myself. Only really hearing the Ragga influenced jungle I didn't get a chance to listen to anything else. However the tracks which caught my attention were the jungle tunes with the musical breakdowns. This was the best part of the tracks for me. Around 96 my older brother (cheers Rich!) sent me a tape of Bukem & Conrad (live at the Ministry Of Sound). As soon as I heard it I was absolutely hooked to this deep, diverse style.

Through listening to a lot of atmospheric tunes I decided to try making my own in 98. I got into Djing only a few years ago, but I've managed to pick it up quite quickly."

Along with the rest of the System Check Dj's Tidal promotes an individual sound which he will be pushing on the show.. 2003 is set to be a good year for Tidal, look out for some forthcoming releases on Covert Operations, as for the other labels...watch out!
